Community Highlights: Meet Teayanni Ross of Crown Collection Hair

Today we’d like to introduce you to Teayanni Ross. 

Hi Teayanni, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
The birthing of Crown Collection Hair originally came about when I was 18 in college attending Alabama A&M University full time as well as living paycheck to paycheck to make ends meet. I loved getting my hair done, I wanted to be a hair done as they say. When you look good, you feel good. So, balancing out both was tough but I was able to maintain my lifestyle as well as accomplish other things while working and being in school full time. Being that I’ve always had an eye for hair extensions I knew it could be bigger than a side hustle it could change my life as well as others around me. 

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There has been and I’m sure will continuously be challenges while building my brand because I am doing something that I haven’t before so there is always trial and error. There is no such thing as perfect so I keep that in the back of my mind and use every day as an opportunity for growth. It’s me vs. me so I know that with time I can only get better.

Crown Collection Hair offers affordable luxury hair extensions to women which includes wigs, bundles, lace closures, and frontals as well as a few wig products (I will be adding several products down the line). I want women to know whether they are in school full time, putting in hours into their career, or even holding it down at home being a full-time mommy you have the right to be confident and feel sexy while gracing yourself with luxury quality hair.
