Hi Jeanette, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
On Thursday afternoon, I was sitting at my desk at work and felt the need to return to school. As I started to think about the major I would pursue, the word “Communication” came to mind. I began to apply to different Universities, and Harris Stowe State University would be my choice school. This University would help me develop a passion for writing and editing. Upon completion of my degree in Communication Studies, I soon began “Janet’s Editing Services.”
Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
Communication is a very evolving field. As the world continues to evolve, so does the way people communicate. My journey has been challenging as I overcame fear, and clientele can be up and down. Having to stay abreast of the different communication styles hasn’t been the easiest either; however, I’ve mastered being patient and allowing God, my skills, personality, and drive to lead new clientele my way.

Janet’s Editing Services was established in 2020 while sitting in a writing course at Harris Stowe State University. I specialize in Resumes, Press Releases, Revising Documents, Correcting grammatical errors in any document, etc. I am most known for editing books and writing press releases and papers! I’m very of my business. Our experience, patience, expertise, and knowledge sets apart! Janet’s Editing Services is special to me as this brand operates with thankfulness from all our customers and was built from the ground.
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
The Covid-19 Crisis has allowed clientele to grow by leaps and bounds. Since our business is solely online/virtual, it has taught me that timeliness and maintaining deadlines are important to every business!!
