Check Out Sinti Ventura’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sinti Ventura

Hi Sinti, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Organized Homes by Sinti LLC began its journey about three years ago. At the time, my husband Alex and I were both juggling full-time jobs and barely had time for each other, let alone our passion for volunteer work. We knew we wanted a change – a chance to create something meaningful together.

One day, we sat down and made a bold decision: we would quit our full – time jobs and take over the cleaning company my mother had lovingly build over the past 20 years. She was ready to retire, and we saw it as an opportunity to honor her legacy while creating something of our own.

Truthfully, we had no idea what we were doing. But we decided to take a leap of faith – investing in us and our future – by hiring a business coach. That decision became the turning point for us, giving us the tools and guidance to transform the company into what it is today.

The journey has been anything but easy. We’ve faced challenges, embrace change, and learned so much along the way. But through it all, we’ve loved every step of building Organized Homes by Sinti into a thriving, successful business.

We have had a lot of challenges, a lot of change and a whole lot of learning but we have loved every single step of our journey into making Organized Homes by Sinti into a successful business.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Building Organized Homes by Sinti has been a journey full of challenges, growth and resilience. As a brown latina women, stepping into the entrepreneurial world wasn’t exactly a smooth road. From the beginning there were hurdles that tested not just our business skills but also our courage and determination.

Alex and I had no prior experience running a business, and we quickly realized how much there was to learn – from managing finances to marketing and everything in between. On top of that breaking into the professional organizing market as a latino couple came with its own set of obstacles. There were moments that we felt underestimated, overlooked, or like we didn’t belong in certain spaces.

Another challenge was navigating the shift from my mothers well – loved but traditional cleaning business to the modern, professional organizing and cleaning company we envisioned. Change isn’t easy, and i worry about wether long time clients will embrace our new approach. balancing respect for my mothers legacy while creating something uniquely ours required careful thought and planning.

Along the way, there were personal sacrifices, moments of self doubt, and plenty of sleepless nights. But coming form where we come from, it gave us a unique perspective. We learned to lean into our heritage, values, and strength. We build connections with clients and communities who share similar experiences and who see the value in supporting a minority owned business.

Looking back, i wouldn’t change the struggles for anything. Every obstacle and challenge we faced taught us something invaluable.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?

What was your favorite childhood memory?
Growing up my mom was always working. She wasn’t just a hard worker – she was the hardest worker i know. Whether she was running her cleaning business, managing the household and raising 5 children, she was always moving, always doing. Even as a kid, i understood that everything she did was for us.

One memory that stands out is when i was about 15 years old. My mom had just come back from a long day, but instead of resting, she sat me down at the kitchen table and said, “I want to show you something” she pulled out a small notebook where she tracked her business expenses and earnings, and she explain to me how she kept her books organized.
“If you want something of your own one day” she said “you have to understand how to take care of it”. I didn’t realize it at the time, but she was planting the seed of entrepreneurship in me.

She also taught me to take ride in every job no matter how small. I remember doing smallest task with her and she said “Do it well because your work is a reflection of who you are. Always leave your mark with dignity and honor”

Those lessons stayed with me. Watching her work so hard and carry herself with such strength and integrity inspired me to dream bigger. She taught me that sufficiency isn’t just about earning money its about believing in yourself, working hard, and holding your head high no matter what challenges come your way.

Even now when we are running our own business, I think of my mom. Her example is the foundation of everything i do. And her values are the heart of Organized Homes by Sinti.
