Today we’d like to introduce you to Mark Cantor. They and their team shared their story with us below:
Mark was raised in St. Louis. He graduated from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans in 1993. After graduation, Mark returned to St. Louis and began his legal career pursuing personal injury law. Mark Aaron Cantor is the founding member of Cantor Injury Law. At the age of 25, Mark started exclusively representing injury victims. At the age of 28, Mark founded Cantor Injury Law! Mark’s legal practice is dedicated primarily to recovering money for those seriously injured by the negligent actions of others. Mark strongly believes that a client or family with a personal injury case should be allowed equal access to our American justice system without financial concerns and should only pay fees or expenses for aggressive and competent representation if the case is won! Mark is an active leader in the Saint Louis community. He is the chairperson for a local children’s summer camp, Camp Sabra, and serves on the executive committee of the Board of Directors for the Jewish Community Center. Mark is also the director of CantorLand, the law firm retreat center for Cantor Injury Law. CantorLand is an official sponsor of what was called the Boy Scouts and is now the Scouts. CantorLand is approximately 150 acres of Missouri wildlife and is by invitation only.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I started practicing law at another firm that paid me only ten dollars an hour as an independent contractor. I was 24 years old, had a wife and a baby, and we were poor, but I wanted only to practice injury law. So it was a struggle. I learned by taking cases to trial that were given to me for trial by the partners where I worked. The cases were terrible, so most were lost, but I learned a lot. I started Cantor Injury Law when I was 28 years old. I took the risk and fought hard for all my clients, and so we became successful by winning. That is where I created the slogan “Get the Big Bucks!”
