Community Highlights: Meet Michelle Gauthier of Michelle Gauthier Life Coaching

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Gauthier.

Hi Michelle, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for sharing your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
Hi, I’m Michelle Gauthier. Many years ago, I was listening to a podcast and a life coach was the guest. When I heard her talking about her job, and how she helped people improve their lives, I just knew it was my calling. At the time, I was about 20 years into a great corporate career. I had a demanding, high-stress job and two small kids. Adding life coach training on top of all I was already managing seemed like a crazy idea, but I did it anyway. I finished my training and decided to go for it. I quit my corporate job to be a full-time life coach in 2017.

Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
It could have been a smoother road. When I started my business, I was also going through a divorce. All at once, I was moving, creating a “new normal” for myself and my kids, and growing a business. I felt a lot of pressure to succeed and make money to support my family. It wasn’t an easy transition, but I’m so glad I followed my gut and went for it. Five years in, I love my job. I’m proud to help my clients create better lives. I support my family by doing work I absolutely love.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Michelle Gauthier Life Coaching?
I am a Life Coach who helps overwhelmed working women create a calm, intentional life. I usually work with women who have high-powered careers and children. They are often also considering a big change – for example, switching careers, starting their own business, or getting divorced. Combining all of those circumstances typically creates a lot of stress and overwhelm. In my coaching, I teach my clients to manage their mindset, set boundaries, say no, and many other skills to help make their lives feel much better. I coach my clients 1-on-1 for 6 months. We meet each week. Meeting weekly for 6 months is the perfect time to learn and practice new skills. When my client finishes her sessions, she feels confident, clear, and calm. My clients also see results in every area of their life – including starting successful businesses, having better relationships with their kids/spouse/family/friends/boss, letting go of anger/guilt, successfully navigating divorce, making more money, quitting alcohol, and many more.
