Today we’d like to introduce you to Kendra Hunt.
Hi Kendra, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
We started making products in 2016 when our youngest son developed severe eczema. What started as just a hobby quickly grew into a passion, a small business. We initially experimented with soothing bath bombs, then expanded into more complex formulas such as body butters, body scrubs, facial washes, and much more.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
As any entrepreneur would tell you, there’s nothing smooth about running your own business, especially with your spouse. Over the past five years, we have both maintained full-time jobs while managing a family and starting our business. During these past five years, we have invested our funds without always seeing a turnaround in profit. There have been times when we wanted to give up because of low sales or professional disagreements, but through it all, we have always managed to overcome any challenges.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
With Love is a faith-based family business that formulates handcrafted skincare with intention. Each product is created in small batches, free of sulfates, parabens, and harsh chemicals. In a nutshell, we keep out the bad stuff to give you the best ingredients for your skin.
We are known for our large, fizzing bath bombs that soothe and soften your skin. Our rich and creamy Body Cream is a family favorite, especially in my household. We are blessed to continue to see With Love grow as our family business and teaching our sons entrepreneurship at the same time.
As a small business, we can keep the integrity of our products and share our faith through our products. Simply put, incorporating With Love into your daily skincare routine is the epitome of practicing self-care and self-love.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I credit a lot of our success to our spiritual beliefs and being authentic. Throughout this journey, the strength of faith and family has allowed us to stay true to our core beliefs and do all things With Love.
