Today we’d like to introduce you to John Samuel III
Hi John, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Growing up I was always into picking out my outfits the night before and seeing how it looked to make sure it was the look I was going for. From the shirt all the way to my shoes I was making sure everything looked right. When I was younger though my biggest thing was making sure everything matched. Nowadays I go more so by the colors and if the colors look good together. I like to do different methods with colors when it comes to my fits. For example sandwich outfit or a color blocking outfit just to name a few.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I would say I used to get discouraged by the type of content I would post and it not receive the recognition or interaction that I would like would make me feel some type a way before. But now I’m at the point where I just post because I want to show my versatility as well just enjoying it.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I create outfits that express how I feel that day as well as giving people motivation on there day to day and telling people about my journey as a follower of Christ .I guess I would say I’m known for my outfits and how I put things together that really isn’t something people are used to seeing where I live. I would say I’m different in just they way I got about my content it something that everyone can find something to relate too.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I would say that I’m where I am at now and the opportunities I have received have been from God.
