Daily Inspiration: Meet Joseph Sas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Joseph Sas.

Hi Joseph, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Bullet points: Chiropractic cured my childhood asthma when nothing else would. I’ve always been entrepreneurial and knew what I wanted to do at a young age. There’s no pulled-up from my bootstraps story there. I don’t stop. Like, ever stop. My brain is always thinking of angles and solutions for patients. Core values guide my life, and I live vigorously to them, subconsciously or consciously. Authenticity is something that I’ve been growing into more and more. Maybe it’s an older age thing. I turned 40 this year. Not to that degree, but getting closer. You know the grandma who says whatever she likes, and everyone gasps (because she’s telling the truth).

We all face challenges, but would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Of course not! Perseverance is a value of mine. I’ve been fired 2x; my professional chiropractic career was fired, nothing dramatic, I just wanted more, and they weren’t willing to do it with me. I was kicked out of 2 different shared offices as I was “growing too much.” Had staff quit, patients claim bankruptcy, insurance steals money back. But it’s just part of the game of running a practice.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I fix broken people. We’re finding that people have been band-aiding their physical problems for so long. They’ve done PT, MRI, and Medications and visited their medical doctor who knows how many times and didn’t know what to do. Ibuprofen like candy. They want a long-term solution to what’s going on. Often it’s a struggle to get them to understand. But, they will want to get beyond when reminded that it’s been a decade of pain. They know the necessity of care.

What matters most to you? Why?
Growth. Not only for myself but others as well. Because why be stagnant?
