Today we’d like to introduce you to Julie Rausch.
Hi Julie, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey started in 2004 when I decided to make a career change and signed up for school to become an esthetician. I didn’t like sitting at a desk, and I always loved skincare and helping people, so I thought aesthetics would be an awesome fit. I fell in love with it immediately, and the passion never died. I started at one of the top med spas in the area and worked there for 17 years until finally going out on my own. I specialize in lash extensions and facials and am excited to offer the only FDA-approved permanent hair removal, electrolysis, very shortly.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I feel blessed. It has been a relatively smooth road for me, thanks to the wonderful clients in my life. The pandemic set me back a little, but I believe in looking forward. I’m excited about the future.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a licensed esthetician and love everything about skincare. I started doing eyelash extensions midway through my career and loved it. I love the whole creative aspect of it and the endless designs that can create for each client. I enjoy the attention to detail work, and when a client opens their eyes up for the first time and looks in the mirror at the transformation, it just makes me so happy. So now, I specialize in lash extensions and lash lifts. I’m proud of my ability to form a connection with my clients. I care about their lives and make them feel good about themselves. They are like family to me. That sets me apart and the great lash retention my clients get. They comment on that a lot. I’m also excited to launch my lash line this year called Living Youthful & Abundant.
The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you, and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
I’ve learned to enjoy every day and don’t take a minute for granted. I don’t get upset over the little things or the big things. Life is a gift – take the time to enjoy every part.
