Daily Inspiration: Meet Wendell Mosley

Today we’d like to introduce you to Wendell Mosley

Hi Wendell, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
M3M Films was established last year, 2024 but the idea came from the CEO Wendell Mosley Jr, stage name Leg3nd when he was 9 years old and wanted to write and direct movies. Fastfoward now and M3M is now a family production company, which is also ran with the help of the other two Mosley brothers, Tydel “TY” Mosley and Nigel “Quick” Mosley. We will be coming out with our first feature film this year, which we will be filming for this spring. HuSTLe Nights is a story of the city of St Louis and what the culture of STL is.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No road is smooth. We are a black family trying to break into a white dominated field, the film business. We dealt with family drama, addictions, and incarcerations. But we have remained as a family strong and have continued to build are brand through much adversity, to be able to finally give are fans(what we call the village) a project that they will love!

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
We are a film production company who believe in changing the world with one story at a time, because we believe films can help change lives. The same thing we’re proud of is the same thing that sets us apart, which is family. From the director Wendell, editor and cinematographer in Tydel, and actor in Nigel. We showcase not only are skill individuals but how we work as a family.

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
From movies like Django and Goodfellows, or even shows like Breaking Bad or Squid Games. These are some of our favorites that help us with are craft.
