Alright, thank you for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, how did you get started?
Greetings, I’m a compassionate nurse by trade, emphasizing community service and advocacy. I wanted to help people by improving my knowledge of tax preparation. I have prepared taxes for years for family and close friends but never considered making it a full fledge business until I started following a tax preparer on IG. She disclosed how her business helped her provide for her family and even retire her mom. She began offering classes, and I flew to Houston to take the class, and I am now providing tax services with the ability to file taxes in all 50 States.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been smooth?
The obstacle and challenge are understanding my knowledge base and charging accordingly. When you have done a service for free for so long, beginning to charge can be challenging.
