Today we’d like to introduce you to Katy Allison
Hi Katy, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I knew I wanted to be an aesthetician when I was a teenager. My mom and my grandma used to see my now business partner, Jill, and she made me want to get into this industry. After I graduated high school I reached out to her and my other business partner, Andrea. We started in a small little room, just me taking clients, and have now expanded across St. Louis and out of state!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Nothing is ever a smooth road but we have gotten through so much! We went through the pandemic, we learned who and how to hire the right team, and learned how to create an awesome environment for our clients and aestheticians! Every day we learn something new that helps get us to the next level.

The Only Facial specializes in one signature facial involving steps customized to an individual’s unique skin type and concerns. Our facial is one set price, no tipping, no up-charging, and no pushy sales. We are different from others in that we focus on the skin and forming relationships with our clients instead of the sales. We believe in beautiful skin made simple. I am most proud of the team that we have. They are all such phenomenal aestheticians and work so hard. How do you think about luck?
Obviously we are very very blessed to be where we are and I never take that for granted. We attract the energy that we put out and I think that is a huge reason for our success! That energy and so much hard work, went into getting us where we wanted to be and will continue to expand our business.
