Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Jo Fabrizio-Hollabaugh.
Hi Jordan Jo, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in a rodeo family, so I have been on the back of a horse since the age of 4. I have always loved to rope and ride horses, and creating that freedom to be able to do that has always been my first priority. I am blessed that I have always been a bit on the nerdy side, and loved computers, and all things technology. I went to West Texas A&M to study Marketing, and also obtained my MBA while I was there. When I graduated, I started my own marketing business and it has taken off from there. Now I am able to literally travel all over the world, and work in the front seat of my pickup truck. My office is never usually in the same place from day to day, and that is what I love about what I do. We have recently started a podcast, In The LOOP Breakaway Podcast, so that has been a fun adventure within itself. My goal is to become the best version of me that I can be, and see the world while I am at it!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Adversity is always present when there are great things to be obtained. No, it has not been easy, I have learned a lot, grown a lot stronger, and matured as I have went along the way. Learning to navigate the responsibilities of a business owner, athlete, and wife, have been a journey, and I am thankful for it. Nothing worth having is easy
One of my favorite obstacles that I overcame was in college. I competed for 5 years at the college rodeo level and did not make the College National Finals Rodeo, which was a huge goal of mine. This provoked me to really dig down deep and figure out how to be the best roper that I could be. So, at age 23 I started from scratch, and with the help of my Husband, Raymond Hollabaugh, I recreated my roping skillset. It was one of the most jumbling experiences ever, lots of blood, sweat and tears, but I had to be gritty and really find my fight in order to persevere… Then in 2020 I qualified for the first ever National Finals Breakaway Roping, won the average (10 head of calves in a row) and ended up 3rd in the World Standings overall. It was a very proud moment, knowing that I had started later in life, but I still was able to accomplish my goals and dreams. It lit a fire in my heart, that I am so thankful for to this day
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
