Today we’d like to introduce you to Regina Johnson.
Hi Regina, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
Misfits were birthed 2 years ago. I have always had a passion for fashion. Even as a young girl, people would always tell me that I have a unique style. I have always liked to dress as I please. Never was into keeping up with the latest trends. I stepped out on faith and went with the flow. Now, we are here.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
The road has not been smooth. There have been many challenges. Being a young entrepreneur with no experience in business is challenging.
Many times, I wanted to quit and go back to a 9-5 but I realize this is a vision from God, and if I stay the course I will see the fruits of all my labor.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I own an online women’s boutique. I offer comfy but cute women’s clothing. I believe women should be able to be free, bold, happy, and most importantly comfortable on a budget. I am most porous of myself for finally believing in my vision and choosing not to give up.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My family and friends have been there to support me from day 1. They always pushed me to be great. My children have also played a major role. It’s soo funny because now they are into fashion and being unique in their own style.
They want to start a business under the same umbrella but for kids and teens. I am truly blessed.
