Today we’d like to introduce you to ZT HUNNID.
Hi ZT, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Ever since I was 9, I was musically inclined. My inspiration grew from artists like Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, Jason Derulo, etc. At the age of 15, I decided to make my own music. Throughout my high school years, I went through the cycle of finding myself and learning about myself personally. Music helped me grow as a person and with determination it helped me create who I am today.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Finding my sound and myself was a difficult task that I had to accomplish. Obstacles were always in the way. From social opinions to bandwagons people always found a way to try and bring me down in the long run. Though I had a lot of haters in my journey (still do) I never let it take me down fully. I struggled with myself being my toughest opponent and biggest critic as well.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am an Artist from Saint Louis MO. What sets me apart from others is my creativity. Majority of artists in my city all talk about the same thing or have the same sound. There’s only a select few in my opinion that I think are different In Their own way as well. I’m most proud of my growth as an artist and potential not many people can say they have traveled to cities like Atlanta and Chicago for performance events.
How do you define success?
Success is when you can accomplish and feel comfortable with your accomplishment. To me, that’s when someone can say they have achieved success.
