Meet Lillie Harvey of Harvey & Co Real Estate

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lillie Harvey.

Hi Lillie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hi! I am Lillie Harvey, Broker/Owner of Harvey & Co Real Estate. Wow! I can truly say it was nothing but God’s perfect timing that I arrived at where I am today! When my sister suggested I get my real estate license back in 2016/2017, my life looked very different. I was a new mom. At that time, I was working assisting someone else with their life and was merely trying to find my way. So I jumped into Real Estate thinking it will be something on the side, oh boy was I wrong. I found my passion and my purpose found me! The thought of helping someone secure something that many did not think was possible, gave me butterflies. To take part in one of the most pivotal moments literally was an honor. Then as I navigated the business and learned from some of the best, I decided (with my family’s blessing and encouragement) to go big or go home. Haha! Something like that. Well, I wasn’t ready. I was literally terrified!!! Fast forward nearly a year and the sense of urgency wouldn’t leave me. The sense of discomfort just would not shake. It was either do it afraid or stay stuck. I leaped out with nothing but faith and prayer that God got me and confidence that I have built a book business that would not fail me. God did exceedingly, abundantly all I can ask or think!!! I am so thankful for my obedience because the sacrifice of my call was too expensive to pay.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Oddly enough, it has!! I expected hurdles and pitfalls but God is Good! I was diligently doing homework to get things started and systems in place nonstop prior to the reveal. I asked the tough questions. I sought wisdom often. I challenged myself to dig deeper. It was lots and lots of early mornings and late nights. I could not have done any of it without my niece Nyshaun being my cheerleader, marketing director, social media guru, logo creator, and everything more! She literally held my hand and did not let me fall. I am forever grateful!!!

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Harvey & Real Estate?
The main goal of starting Harvey & Co Real Estate was to train agents to not only have exceptional negotiation skills, but to build lasting relationships as well. Strong relationships are critical to any business.

We have built great success working with sellers, buyers, new builds, and investors over the years, it was a smart move to open up my own firm.

We strive to continue developing lasting relationships and making each person feel as though they are our number one priority. Keeping the process as stress-free as possible, of course.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Honestly, it has to be creating organic, lasting relationships. No judgment. No bad vibes. Just good energy and loyalty. My clients are everything to me. The bonds we create cannot be broken. To build that kind of trust with a complete stranger speaks volumes. They know I will look out for their best interest one billion percent and it’s never about a sell but always about the relationship! But of course, when it’s time for me to negotiate on their behalf, they know I play zero games!
