Today we’d like to introduce you to Mariel Pujols.
Hi Mariel, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Mariel Pujols I am 28 years old & I was born and raised on the most beautiful and visited island Dominican Republic. I have also raised with my 2 parents my dad was here in the states and my mom was in D.R. One thing I have always learned and seen my parents do is to work hard, my dad had a business that closed a couple of years after he came to the USA and my mom has always had multiple jobs.
So I learn to work hard and that money doesn’t grow on trees. My first job was cleaning offices with my mom and by 22 years old I had multiple jobs.
I am a mom of 2 wonderful boys. They made my life much better but also encourage me to live a different Lifestyle. After having my second son I was working multiple jobs for 3 years. I barely had time for myself or my family but I wanted to make sure I was able to support, pay for my bills, and take care of my family.
2 years ago I made the decision to start my own business by joining a network marketing because I need it as an extra source of income. I partner up with an anti again beauty brand & I have been able to make an extra income from wifi or in person. I get to work around my boys and make them a part of my business as well. I get mentorship from Tony robbins, Todd Duncan, Ed meet and so many more I appreciate the company investing in their people and that’s what Monat does for us Market partners.
Let me share a bit more about my personal hobbies and desires I like to work out, I like to dance and I enjoy meeting new people & taking pictures of myself and food and different I love to be the wild friend but also be the mom of the group. My favorite food is Dominican food but tacos and sushi hold a special place in my heart. The beach is my favorite place to be, love the sunrise and the sunset & I enjoy traveling. My biggest desire is to live a life I won’t regret and to make a positive impact around the world.
Every summer my mom and I send boxes to Dominican Rep and donated them to those in need. I come from a very humble household and hard-working parents so we are grateful to be where we are and help others. We are not rich but god has always provided.
I wake up every day at 5 am to go to the gym and I like to wake up before the world wakes up. I love working on my mindset, and self-development has been a big part of me for the last 2 years having a daily routine is super important to me.
I’m a strong believer you have to work hard to get what you want and part of life is not giving up even through the hardest moments your faith, desires, and dreams should be bigger and stronger than any situation.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, life has challenged me in so many ways,
One of my first challenges was coming to a new country and leaving my family, friends, and everything I knew to start fresh. Having to learn a whole new language was super challenging and hard. I still have my accent and I have learned to love it more through the years.
I come from a family that has suffered from obesity and at 23 years old I got very sick in my stomach to the point I was always in the hospital because of stomach pain, I had to learn to eat healthier, exercise, and be more active I was able to lose over 100+lb because of this I learn to be disciplined, motivated, and consistent which as help me in so many areas in my life.
I also wasn’t inspired to go to college so I had to work multiple jobs and that at first was hard but also kept me wanting to build my own business which now I have.
I want to be the first one in my family to be successful in something I love,

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
COVID was so unexpected but it was a learning experience it brought so many bad times but it also brought good things. Because of it I was let go of the 3 jobs that I had and I was able to start my own business.
I also learn that life is not promised and you have to take full advantage of it.
I feel like COVID also open a lot of doors for everyone, a lot of people started working from home, a lot of people got to start a new chapter & a lot of people grow from it.
