Meet Matthew Yelton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Matthew Yelton.

Hi Matthew, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started earlier this year. I worked in the camera department at an electronic store and got a position representing Sony cameras. I found a huge love for photography and had a lot of fun learning and improving my craft. I then decided this is something I want to do for my future, and now I want to share my love of all photography with the world!

Would it have been a smooth road, and what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I have had a hard road to finding my passion. I was always lazy, so a good portion of my 20s has been wasted, having no passion or drive. Photography gives me that drive to wake up every morning, giving me that creative itch in my brain.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I do primarily freelance photography, but my focus for the future wants to be wildlife centered.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some changes you expect to see over the next five to ten years?
My dream for myself and my photography career is to have my photography book and maybe have some expo somewhere that will be okay with me hanging up some pictures!

Pricing:

  • All my work is kind of served ala carte and priced varied
  • I’ll do shots, B/W portraits and more for 100.00
