Omar Mostafa a.k.a American Pharaoh or Pharه, is an Egyptian-American, Rapper/Artist whose contagious and vibrant sound introduces Arabic semi-tones to western music.
His music often touches on his experiences in spirituality and how that has affected and shaped his life being raised in America. From the Slums of Egypt to the hood/street life of America; his music greatly reflects the trials and tribulations that he has been through.
With direct relation to the author and producer of the current Egyptian national anthem and who some consider being the grandfather of modern-day Arabic Music -Muhammad Younis Al-Qadi; it is no surprise that the Egyptian-American Decedent is just as creative and clever
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. I say this because I believe a good artist is one that has originality or authenticity and to have that an artist needs to have a good sense and understanding of his identity. So, from the beginning especially as an Immigrant, the odds definitely constantly seemed against me.
From trying to understand the American Culture to find my true identity as an Egyptian-American. The process itself of Trial and Error and the school bullying that accompanied it; especially growing post-9/11 presented a whole new level to the word “struggle”. At one point my parents and I are were taken for questioning right after 9/11.
After high school, the struggles didn’t really lessen but increased. I was an angry kid who was mad at the world for his parents’ divorce and getting neglected through the process. At the time, I became heavily involved in the streets as a way to maintain my daily income and support my full-blown cocaine addiction. After about 3 years of this lifestyle, I decide I need better, I deserve better, and I asked Allah to lead the way!
Struggles: 1. Addiction 2. Finding my identity 3. Parents Divorce 4. Learning English 5. Understanding American Culture 6. Stigmas after 9/11 7. Psychological Trauma.

ArabMafia Entertainment LLC- is a Music Recording and Entertainment Company based out of Louisville, Kentucky, and run by a Producer/Videographer/NFTcreator MiaMiz17 and Director/Artist American Phar.
With specialization in Vocal Recording, Vocal Editing & Track Mastering; as well as video production and E-marketing- we took the time to learn the skills needed to try and god willing give any up-and-coming artists a good fighting chance to actually make it.
On the other hand, We have our own roster of artists that we feature all with diverse styles of trap, trap-pop, hip-hop, Detroit, drill, and Arabic Drill. My Personal brand for Pharه is “It’s not music, it’s magic!”
As for ArabMafia, we are a label that wants to represent and be there for the Western Arab community. Or anyone really Especially “The Lost Ones”, the ones that don’t know who they really are yet or never got the chance to learn who they are because they either followed the crowd until they lost themselves or stayed simple and never got to fully experience the “American-Dream”.
We want them to know they are not alone, you can be you, and F*** what anybody else says, we got your back!
So maybe we end by discussing what matters most to you and why?
Family. With its many forms. While being raised and living in America I have met and bonded and adopted and learned from so many different people and families. When they said, “It takes a village to raise a child”, well my village was a couple of different ones put together.
The person who I am today would for a fact be where he is today without god’s guidance to these people who still to this day showed me, love, without need to be ken and constant guidance as to the little brother that still needs to get shown the ropes. These people hold huge importance in my life and are one huge catalyst in my will in making it one day God willing.
I want to give back. Every Single One of them Gave me without a need for me to ask and one of my biggest priorities and goals is to finally be able to give back to them and help them achieve their dreams because they all deserve nothing but the best and its because of them that my meaning and definition of LOVE is BEYOND the limits any dictionary can give.
