Today we’d like to introduce you to Harley☆TCG Aurora.

Hi Harley, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I began my journey 14 years ago, I was raised in an environment where media was how we got food on the table and grew up watching my older siblings in shows and making movies with their friends during Y2K and I always wanted to give it a shot. So one day after watching an anime I found on YouTube I tossed my iPod 4 on a pile of laundry and hit record…

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s gotten easier as I’ve gotten older, the most important thing I’ve learned when facing struggles is the ability to tell people no. This used to be SUPER hard for me but as I’ve gained experience I’ve discovered it’s all about discernment and how but more importantly when to implement it.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m the Fae of Stl. Outside of Idol & performance work I model high fantasy and kawaii style shoots and regularly enjoy creating faerie artwork for the general public and event spaces enjoyment.

For idol work I’m completely independent now, all rate talk goes through me.

I’m most proud of having created this space from scratch, I know I mentioned the iPod laundry pile, keeping this in mind consistently has kept me humble and in the mindset that this is supposed to be fun, clout has never been my focus. You should create things because you authentically enjoy them or they make you happy.

I offer dance counseling, media projects, dance mentorship, and creative consulting.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
If it’s meant for you it’ll find you, same with people. Your people will find you when you’re patient. Always listen to your gut and the block button *laughs* personally, I believe success isn’t a one size fits all recipe, you need to trust what you want and tune outside voices out.
