Today we’d like to introduce you to Jonathan Williams
Hi Jonathan, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started my journey in 2020 where we had nothing but the opportunity to discover our passions and purposes. Fell in love with the camera ever since then. It has gotten me far and in the recent year it has been nothing but blessings from learning and being in the rooms that I have been in. Look forward to what is to come. I went from “Shot By J. Will” to “Young Visionary” and that became a big turn around in my journey feel like that name holds more weight to what I love. With Young Visionary in 2024 I created a network “YV Worldwide” where I work exclusively with different creatives, models, entrepreneurs, etc. and it has been nothing but successful and I’m forever grateful for each individual involved.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Nothing is ever really a smooth road and I don’t expect it to be. I like to follow God and what He has planned for the journey ahead of me. Some struggles you face through what I do could be mental or even financial but if you love what you do that stuff gets smaller and smaller as you continue to grow. Strive through the adversities
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a Creative Director/Photographer/Videographer. I am known for my creativity and my vision. My work speaks heavily for itself through the story telling aspect to the color grading. I believe it is a lot that sets me apart but the biggest thing is that all of this is ran by my passion for what I do.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is to be true to you and the people around you. Everything else will fall in place if you move accordingly. Surround yourself with a like-minded environment and things will grow exponentially. And don’t move with ill intentions, be genuine with what you do people recognize that in most cases.
