Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Pohl
Hi michelle, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started drinking tea many years ago after learning the benefits tea has on health and mental wellness. Immediately I noticed a difference in my own body and became passionate to learn more. Not only did I find that tea tasted great, but I didn’t experience the jitters that coffee gave me.
Blooming With Joy started as a speaking platform to encourage women to find joy during difficulties. My signature talk included 7 tips to find joy. Sipping tea was one of those tips. Originally, tea was only going be sold during my talks. Instead, tea became my focus. Now, I enjoy creating beautiful tea blends and gifts.
Blooming with Joy isn’t just a pretty name. It is a reminder that no matter what life throws at you, keep choosing joy. Happiness is a fleeting feeling, joy is a choice to be positive and to remain strong. Experience Pure Joy, one cup at a time!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Any business can look easy and smooth from the outside. It’s the personal grind and perseverance that keeps things going. After almost 10 years in business I have certainly dealt with many struggles from places and people I wouldn’t have imaged I would be dealing with. I have considered quitting but at the end of the day, I love what I do and the people, my Joyfuls, that I create for.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Being consistent on your image and how you conduct business builds trust and keeps trust. The little details matter. When people shop with me they know what to expect, they know. I will take care of them, their product image and quality will be consistent. Building this trust slowly over the years activated word-of-mouth marketing allowing us to ship to all 50 states Canada and Mexico.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I don’t think there is luck. I think its having a good sense of intuition. Sometimes, you get it right.
