Today we’d like to introduce you to Miquel Vincent
Hi Miquel , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was about to become a product of my environment, so I decided to break generational cycles and create a path that doesn’t lead me to self-destruction. I began cutting hair, and it has mentally, physically, and emotionally affected me in many good ways. As a barber, I became a counselor, therapist, friend, brother, and blessing. I can give back every day with just a conversation, watching clients change into different people from when they first came. My job is so much more than cutting hair, and it has changed me for the better.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been smooth, because I also was a new dad, and I had to figure out this parenting life, prioritize, and not only be a barber but also a father to my kids.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a barber and I am known for bald fades and being patient and consistent. I’m most proud of myself for sticking to being a barber. I couldn’t keep a job and would always quit. What sets me apart from others is that I’m like the glue that holds things together, such as friendships, family relationships, etc.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
My favorite childhood memory was when turned 11 learned how to drive
