Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
I wanted to ignore everything else about me. I thought that if I didn’t pay attention to the negatives about myself, eventually all that would be left was positives. And by only being the positive parts of myself I’d be my “true self”. Then, I was sure, I’d finally be comfortable being me everywhere I went…. because I’d be “perfect”. (perfectionism much?)
What I didn’t know back then was that I was leaving out huge parts of my self. And the more I did that, the less possible it was for me to be my whole, real, true self. It wasn’t until I started doing coaching and consciousness work that things started to shift. As my teachers and coaches helped me see and welcome ALL the parts of myself, I started to feel confident, comfortable and at home in myself.
What I’m learning through this journey is: If you want to BE yourself you’ve gotta SEE yoursel
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
wisdom, resilience, compassion, and a deep respect for reality
failure isn’t something to fear — it’s something to embrace. No matter where you are in life, remember that your journey is uniquely yours.
Hebrews 5:8–9, “Although he was a son” — although Jesus was the Son of God — “he learned obedience” — catch that phrase — “he learned obedience through what he suffered. And being made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
reliable and enthusiastic. They have often pointed out my ability to stay positive and motivated even under pressure, which they appreciate especially during our collaborative projects or planning events. And helping the less fortunate and Homeless people
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I’d like to believe they miss the friendship I gave to them.
Perhaps the advice I offered to them with love, whether it was easy or hard.
My willingness to help at any hour. My shoulder to cry on.
I’d also like to think that they will miss having me around as a person who fills a spot in their life. Someone they don’t have to see often but knows I’m there when they need me, whether just to spend time chatting or as that someone that loves people. accomplished, I want to be remembered for how I made others feel. I want to be known as the person who was kind to others and who went through life with a smile on his face.
