An Inspired Chat with Danicìa Tate of North St. Louis County

We recently had the chance to connect with Danicìa Tate and have shared our conversation below.

Danicìa, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
Something I am being called to do now, that I was afraid of doing before is ‘letting go.’

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello, I’m Danicia Tate, Mother and Business Woman. I’m excited to be here, today and thank you for having me once again.
Recently, I opened a dessert shop named, “STL Dipping Station.” What separates this business from all my other business endeavors is that it is built on Faith.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
A part of me that has served its purpose and must be released now is saying ‘Yes,’ to others but ‘NO,’ to myself. We are all deserving.

What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
The defining wounds of my life have been the lack of existence; Not being heard, unseen or understood. I choose to ‘HEAL LOUDLY’, to bring awareness to those wounds, that’s healing.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What truths are so foundational in your life that you rarely articulate them?
Strong in Faith, remaining Genuine and having Humility. These truths are held so foundational in my life that I rarely have to articulate them.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
Yes I can give everything my best, even if no one ever praises me for it. My best has nothing to do with being praised. I love to be of service to others. To be there for someone, knowing that I’m giving my absolute best, that’s more than I can ever ask for. I don’t need to be praised, I praise God for being a vessel and being able to give what I can.
