Good morning Marquise , it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? Are you walking a path—or wandering?
Definitely walking in my path and purpose! God has a plan for me and I continue to move forward with confidence.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
After I graduated college and moved to Atlanta back in 2020 I knew it was time to put things into gear. When I was there by myself no family and had big dreams that’s when I knew it was real for me. Multiple late night sessions, and never ending networking you start to learn how self sufficient you have to be when chasing your dreams. Nobody is going to give you a hand out. I knew it was all up to me.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Keep going no matter what! Life is about learning and understand these struggles and doubts are temporary. The reward is always worth it in the end

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes absolutely! I’m funny, goofy, and love to have a good time. In and out of the studio that’s how I am. But of course when it’s time to work I take it serious.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. When do you feel most at peace?
Honestly I found someone special in my life now and she definitely brings me peace. My music and her definitely keeps me at peace. She listens to me and supports me 100% on my dreams and decisions. She’s my safe place and I’m extremely grateful for her. And I also write majority of my new songs about her too lol
