Rocky Maverick is a rap and hip-hop artist from Saint Louis, MO, where he continues to reside and focus on his lyrical genius. Despite his music’s central genres revolving around trap, hip hop, and pop, Rocky has an undeniable appreciation for rock n roll, which definitely comes out in full display in some of his releases.
Listening to Rocky’s music is like taking a trip down your darkest thoughts and feelings, with the perfect upbeat music to keep you grounded to reality. While he doesn’t shy away from expressing his life’s troubles through his music, there is still a warm and fulfilling feel to his songs that leaves listeners wanting more.
Rocky Maverick is known for his unique voice and cadence. As soon as he starts raping, fans can instantly connect the music to him. This uniqueness has allowed him quite a reputation in his city, where he headlined the weekend of Halloween at a major venue that was attended by over 300 people.
His first album release was The Rocky Maverick Horror Show, which came out in Oct 2021. Since then, Rocky has also been prized with the Slumfest Freshman Class 2020award, with nominees who are considered some of the best but newest artists in the city.
Rocky prefers smaller, more intimate shows where he can connect with the audience and perform up close. People often claim that he sounds like the 1999 Eminem, and he goes take inspiration from him along with The Young Gunnas.
Aside from music, Rocky is keen on teaming up with charitable organizations that support important causes. His dad’s side of the family has struggled with diabetes, so he has made it his mission to partner with respective organizations and helps others who may be dealing with the same.
In the near future, Rocky Maverick hopes to be able to fund his rap career completely on his own through an LLC and grants.
