Hi Andrea, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I began my journey as an interior designer when my children were younger, and I was a stay-at-home mom. My home became my canvas for expressing my creativity, and I enjoyed creating spaces that were not only beautiful but also functional for my family. It wasn’t long before friends and family began seeking advice and expertise for their homes. Whether it was helping choose the perfect paint color, selecting furniture that complemented a space, or providing tips on maximizing functionality, my knack for interior design became increasingly apparent. I found so much joy in the design process. As my children grew older and became more independent, I had more time to dedicate to pursuing my passion professionally. This transition allowed me to focus on honing my skills, expanding my knowledge of design principles, and exploring different styles and trends in the industry. What started as a hobby has now evolved into a thriving business where I create inspiring spaces that reflect my clients’ personalities and preferences and enhance their quality of life.
Has it been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The transition to a full-service design business has been very well-received by the community. In the beginning, though, the most challenging aspect was the uncertainty, particularly in project timelines and supply chain disruptions. Interior design projects often have fluid timelines, and delays can occur due to various factors, such as unexpected construction issues or delays in obtaining materials due to supply chain disruptions like shortages, production delays, or shipping issues. However, now not only have I learned to navigate challenges like these, but I also anticipate them, allowing my clients to feel at ease knowing their home project is in good hands and allowing me to remain focused on delivering high-quality designs that exceed their expectations.

Based in St. Louis and St. Charles, my in-home services cater to a range of needs, from full-room design for those seeking a refresh to new build furnishing and remodels, where I guide clients through material selection and furnish their homes to perfection. I also offer design services to clients who are not local. I’m proud of my designs’ transformative impact on people’s lives. I take pride in the relationships I’ve built with my clients and their trust in me to bring their visions to life. I’m dedicated to understanding their needs, preferences, and lifestyles, allowing me to deliver tailored designs that exceed expectations.
