Today we’d like to introduce you to AniYah Kennedy.
Hi AniYah, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Erica “AniYah” Kennedy, and I was raised in the small town of Alorton, Illinois. My journey into wellness began at age 25 when I made the decision to take control of my health by changing my diet, eliminating toxins, and prioritizing self-care. What started as a personal healing journey quickly evolved into a deep passion for herbs, nutrition, and holistic wellness—especially in the area of women’s health.
As I worked to heal from physical, emotional, and mental challenges that had impacted my life, I discovered that true transformation happens when the mind, body, and spirit are nurtured together. Through practices such as meditation, yoga, breathwork, and herbal wellness, I developed a deeper connection with myself and the natural world around me.
Over time, I realized that the answers I had been searching for externally were already within me. That realization inspired me to help others reconnect with their own power to heal. I began leading workshops, wellness experiences, and educational programs that empower women to prioritize themselves, honor their bodies, and embrace holistic living.
Today, I am a Certified Master Clinical Herbalist, Women’s Wellness Coach, and the founder of Ro’Yal Women’s Wellness Spa. My mission is to create safe spaces where women can rest, heal, and reconnect with themselves through natural wellness practices. I believe healing is not a destination but a lifelong journey of self-discovery, self-love, and intentional living. Through my work, I hope to inspire others to recognize that the power to transform their lives has always been within them.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it has not been a smooth road. Like many women, I have faced my share of challenges, setbacks, and personal hardships. I became a mother at a young age and had to learn how to navigate adulthood while raising children, often putting the needs of others before my own. There were seasons of emotional pain, financial struggles, self-doubt, and healing from past traumas that affected both my mental and physical well-being.
One of my greatest struggles was learning to prioritize myself without feeling guilty. As a caregiver, mother, and nurturer by nature, I spent years pouring into others while neglecting my own needs. My healing journey required me to confront unhealthy patterns, make difficult lifestyle changes, and commit to doing the inner work necessary to grow.
Building my business also came with challenges. Starting with a vision and limited resources required faith, perseverance, and consistency. There were moments when I questioned myself and wondered if I was making a difference. However, every obstacle strengthened my purpose and deepened my commitment to serving others.
Looking back, I am grateful for the struggles because they taught me resilience, compassion, and the importance of holistic wellness. Those experiences allow me to connect with the women I serve from a place of understanding rather than theory. My challenges did not stop me—they helped shape the woman, healer, and leader I am today.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Ro’Yal Women’s Wellness Spa was created from my own healing journey and my passion for helping women reconnect with themselves through holistic wellness. As a Certified Master Clinical Herbalist and Women’s Wellness Coach, I specialize in supporting women through natural approaches to self-care, stress management, hormonal wellness, detoxification, and overall well-being.
What makes my brand unique is that I focus on creating experiences, not just services. My goal is to provide a safe, nurturing environment where women can slow down, be cared for, and prioritize themselves without guilt. Through wellness coaching, herbal education, yoni steams, detox programs, yoga, meditation, sound healing, and therapeutic wellness experiences, I help women cultivate balance in their mind, body, and spirit.
I am known for taking a compassionate and personalized approach. I understand that healing is not one-size-fits-all, and I meet each woman where she is on her journey. Whether someone is beginning their wellness journey or looking to deepen their self-care practices, my mission is to provide education, support, and practical tools that empower them to take an active role in their health and wellness.
One of the things I am most proud of is the community that has formed around my work. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to guide women through transformative experiences that have helped them feel more connected, confident, and empowered in their everyday lives. Seeing women reclaim their health, establish healthy boundaries, and prioritize themselves is the most rewarding part of what I do.
At its core, Ro’Yal Women’s Wellness Spa is about more than wellness services—it is about helping women remember their worth. I want readers to know that our brand is built on the belief that healing begins from within and that every woman deserves a space where she feels seen, supported, and cared for. My mission is to continue creating those spaces while educating and inspiring women to live healthier, more intentional lives.
How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
There are several ways to work with, collaborate with, and support my mission.
Individuals can work with me through wellness coaching, herbal consultations, detoxification programs, wellness workshops, and curated self-care experiences offered through Ro’Yal Women’s Wellness Spa. My services are designed to help women prioritize their health, reconnect with themselves, and create sustainable wellness practices that fit their lifestyles.
I am also open to collaborations with brands, organizations, wellness professionals, community leaders, and event coordinators who share a passion for health, education, and empowerment. Whether it’s speaking engagements, wellness retreats, community events, corporate wellness programs, podcast interviews, educational workshops, or social media partnerships, I enjoy creating meaningful experiences that inspire and uplift others.
For those who want to support my work, the best way is to engage with and share my content, attend events, refer friends and family, participate in my programs, and help spread awareness about the importance of holistic wellness and self-care. Every share, recommendation, and connection helps us reach more women who may be searching for support on their healing journey.
Above all, I want people to know that my work is rooted in service, education, and community. My goal is to continue creating spaces where women feel seen, supported, and empowered to take ownership of their wellness. If my message resonates with you, I would love to connect, collaborate, and grow together.
