Today we’d like to introduce you to Brigitte Soleil.
Hi Brigitte, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’m Brigitte Soleil, just your local poet, tarot reader, astrologer, and DJ, and my path has been anything but linear.
I started exploring astrology and tarot as a teenager, drawn to trying to understand the meaning of life and existence. Those practices then went to the wayside as I was being diagnosed with multiple rare brain and spinal cord tumors starting at the age of 14. Navigating surgeries, treatments, and long-term disability forced me to slow down, adapt, and completely redefine what my life would look like in the long run.
For a long time, I was in survival mode. But over the past decade, I’ve shifted into creating, into joy and into finally understanding that the meaning of life is simply to be in the body and live intentionally.
I returned back to my witchcraft and began offering tarot and astrology readings that were rooted in the present moment, helping people understand where they are so they can move toward where they want to go. At the same time, I reconnected with my body through music and movement, which led me into DJing and ecstatic dance. Now, I create embodied experiences that help people drop back into themselves.
Everything I do lives at the intersection of intuition, creativity, and expression. My work is about helping people feel more connected – to their bodies, their desires, and their own sense of magic.
My journey has taught me how to adapt, take risks, and keep going, even when things don’t look perfect. And I’m continuing to build something that feels fully aligned, alive, and mine.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Roads are not meant to be smooth for long if you are actually living out loud. They are meant to be curving, uphills and down slopes, overgrown and sometimes hard to see.
Living in a body with a disability that continues to change has been one of the biggest challenges. There’s a constant need to adapt and refine physically, mentally, and emotionally. You also have to re-learn how to move through the world in ways that aren’t always accessible or understood. Simple things can take more energy, more planning, and more patience than most people realize.
On top of that, building a business while working full-time and navigating my personal life has pushed me to confront perfectionism, self-doubt, and the fear of not being “ready” yet. I’ve had to learn how to show up before everything feels perfect and to trust the entirety of timing. You simply never know where your journey takes you.
There’s also the vulnerability of putting yourself out there in a very real, very visible way. My work is personal, intuitive, embodied, and expressive. All of this comes with its own challenges and edges.
But through all of it, I’ve learned patience, resilience and refinement. I’ve learned how to get creative, how to ask for help, how to fail and keep going. My path hasn’t been smooth, but it’s been deeply transformative and I wouldn’t even be doing the work I’m doing now without everything I’ve moved through.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My business, Brigitte Soleil, is a blend of all the things I have been inspired by, so I decided to somehow weave them all together. I blend intuitive work, creative expression, and embodied experience through tarot readings, astrology sessions, and DJ sets. I hope to help people reconnect with themselves and their own sense of “aliveness” through their bodies, their desires, and their direction in life.
What I specialize in is meeting people exactly where they are. My readings focus on the present moment and understanding your current energy so you can consciously shift into where you want to go. It’s not about predicting your future, it’s about helping you feel more empowered in it. It’s a shift in language, in mindset, and in belief systems so you can step into the human you have always wanted to be.
On the DJ side, I create what I call embodied experiences, whether that’s ecstatic dance, events, or curated sets. Music and sound healing has been one of the most powerful tools in helping me reconnect with my own body, especially living with a disability, and I love creating spaces where others can drop into that same feeling of freedom and expression.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of how authentic I try to be in what I offer and what I am creating. . I’ve stopped trying to fit into a box or make everything look perfect, and instead I’ve built something that reflects all parts of me, the mystical, the sensual, the playful, the messy, the human.
What I want people to know is that my work is an invitation. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You don’t have to be “ready.” You just have to be willing to show up, explore, and see what’s possible for you.
