Community Highlights: Meet Carolon Taylor of Carolon’s Coaching

Today we’d like to introduce you to Carolon Taylor.

Hi Carolon, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Carolon Taylor. I am an Illinois native born in Cahokia, IL and raised in E. St. Louis, IL. I accepted Christ at the early age of 16 years old and rededicated my life to him a few years after due to drifting from Him. The roles I’ve been given to operate in are: wife, mom, sister, minister, spiritual development coach, and lifelong student. I used to be a troubled kid, meaning that no one really demonstrated true, sincere love to me. I didn’t know my value, my worth, or who I was on the earth. I always used to think “Why am I here? What am I supposed to be doing with my life?” It wasn’t until I got married to my husband is when my purpose began to unfold.

When I look back on my childhood and young adulthood, I realized that God was grooming me to become all that I am today-a Minister and Spiritual Development Coach.

My heart always went toward helping women that were in a pit scuffling to see the light of day. I wanted to know how could I help those that others turned their backs on and give God glory too! I took psychology classes to master my skills and get an understanding of how individuals thought.

With two degrees and a license under my belt, I am coaching women to achieve their purpose, restore their Christlike identities, and break barriers to living godly lives for Christ!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
The road certainly hasn’t been pretty or glorious but it has been worth it. I would walk the same road again just to receive what God was teaching and imparting to me. Some of the struggles that I faced had more to do with how I thought of myself. I battled myself more than any individual outside.

I doubted that I could help those I had been called to minister to; I shrunk back from my calling for the satisfaction of other people; I listened to the opinions of others instead of the infinite wisdom of God which led me to go through struggles longer than I should have.

Also, it had everything to do with my lack of trust in God. I thought so many times that He had made a mistake. Now, that I am fully trusting in God and walking in His purpose in my life, I am completely at peace and enjoying my journey. I’m basking in the anointing I have been given.

God does not make mistakes. In the present day, it is still challenging because other business owners refuse to share what they’ve learned for fear of one getting ahead. However, if we all share our experience and wisdom, we all get ahead and live in success.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Carolon’s Coaching, LLC was established in 2018 and it became a limited liability company in 2021.

My business is Christ-centered and is under the authority of God. I am a Spiritual Development coach that helps single women 21 & up that are struggling in their faith, going through an identity crisis, and don’t know their purpose.

I help these women see their maximum potential in God’s Kingdom in clarifying their purpose and cultivating godliness to live a fulfilling life in Jesus. I am known for my boldness, direct approach, and seeing the whole person rather than part of them.

I use comprehensive assessments and revelatory knowledge from God to assist my clients to better meet their needs. No woman receives the same curriculum or coaching process because each of their needs is uniquely different. I am humbly proud that I have the backing of God to do business with others. I heavily utilize the word of God and the science He created in how I coach these women. If it’s not supported by scripture, I will not do it.

I want people to know that I have primarily done business by word of mouth but in January of 2023, I will be launching my coaching program to the public. I am an author that published two books “Seven Truths of God’s Love ebook” & “Divine Devotional: Intimate Prayers with God.”

Divine Devotional will be available on my website and on Amazon. I also have two huge events coming soon in August and October for women. I am constantly building on the vision God planted within me for creative ways to help women wanting to come out of their broken places.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
My advice to you is 1.) Your business will not be successful without God. Go before God and include Him in all your plans.

It will be short-lived without His hand. 2) Hone in on what you are passionate about and good at and master it. Do it so well that people will be willing to compensate you for it. 3) Whatever it is you do, do it ALL for the glory of God. If you are doing it to get rich, for bragging rights, or just all the wrong motives, your business will not harvest. Dedicate and commit your business and everything attached to it to God.

I wish I knew starting out that real success is founded on wisdom and not money. Matthew 6:33 says “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.”

Chasing the world, their standards, and compromising their customs will not get you where you need to be. Neither does bribing, stealing, lying, cheating on taxes, or stepping on others to advance.

God says to live right! Don’t get tired of doing good. If you can abide by that, then God will make sure that you don’t struggle or want for anything. You will still have challenging moments but they won’t be burdensome because God is with you.
