Hi Daniel, I’m so excited to have you on the platform. Before we get into questions about your work life, how can you bring our readers up to speed on your story, and how did you get to where you are today?
My story begins with my parents, who came to the US in the late 90s from Bosnia during the war. Through their endless efforts and perseverance, they did their best to create a new and better life for themselves and their children. They have been by my side through thick and thin and constantly provided me with the best advice and support. A goal of mine was always to create a business where one day I could give back to my parents all they deserved and provide for my family. As a child, I was always so fascinated with the areas surrounding space and tech; my dream growing up was always to have my own business in the tech area.
As I grew up and started learning and discovering my hobbies and fascinations, I found my love of computers, coding, and business work. During COVID-19, I decided to take the leap and start my own business. My wife and family supported me through the process, and I could not have asked for better people to surround me. My goal is to provide the best services to all businesses that want to make a change or give life to their business website, from a new look, higher conversion, or more. I have created great relationships with all my clients, and they know that I have their back when it comes to their websites.
Let’s dig deeper into the story – has it been an easy path, and if not, what challenges have you overcome?
Opening your business is never a smooth road; it depends on how much you are willing to sacrifice and overcome. Starting from nothing and making it into something is an outstanding achievement and will always have ups and downs. When I began my business from day one, I would spend anywhere from 12-16 hours every day plus sleepless nights to find more clientele, keep up with the tech trends, complete new learning, discover the best options for my clients, and more. I love working, as it is my own business, so to this day, you’ll still find me doing the same. It is also like my own hobby; I constantly strive to be better and provide better services while giving every one of my clients the care they deserve with their websites or online presence.

My business is called ThreeDark, because I love the number “3,” and the “Dark” stands for how I am an insomniac and have a terrible sleep schedule, so you will find me constantly up at night. ThreeDark is a digital marketing agency that mainly focuses on website design/development, website redesigns, E-Commerce development, and monthly maintenance for small to large businesses from business-to-consumer and business-to-business clientele. What sets us apart is the care we provide all clients. I am my worst critic; I will always push and research to provide everyone with the best creative and analytical outcome that brings them to their goals.
I am most proud of the relationships I have built over the years, and watching my client’s businesses grow and expand into what they initially envisioned is one of my greatest achievements. In doing so, as we put so much care into our clients, watching our rise in the charts of multiple review platforms (ex., UpCity, Clutch) as one of the best in Missouri holds its own satisfaction with it through all the hard work. Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Trust, loyalty, and respect are essential to my success. I could work hundreds of hours a week, but at the end of the day, I will ensure that my clients receive the proper respect, trust, and loyalty as everyone else. A business is not just a business but also someone’s life. I will never make that a shortcoming. So, I ensure that all clients are treated equally with the best care and work we offer to make them proud at the end of the day and one step closer to their goal(s).
