Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Butler.
Hi Jennifer, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Our story goes way back; Jenn started photography in high school and continued throughout college, achieving her Bachelor of Fine Arts from UMSL. Through her journey, she has done many education and mentoring programs for weddings, maternity, newborn, family, and even boudoir portraiture. The absolute best thing is showing everyone who their inner goddess is and capturing moments families will have for decades to come. It’s fantastic to be able to help families with the heirlooms they will have for generations to come and see their walls and homes decked out with the lives they live.
Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
It has not been smooth. In the last handful of years, Jennifer has not only lost her father to cancer, survived a pandemic as a small business owner, had her child, lost her entire studio to a fire, and most recently lost her mother to cancer. While these are setbacks, they will not make her crumble.
Let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We offer a boutique photography experience. While we capture your memories, we empower you to be the best human you can be and show you exactly how amazing you are. We specialize in the big moments in a woman’s life – weddings, maternity, newborn, and empowerment boudoir sessions. I love seeing clients’ expressions when they view their images and choose what they want to do with their photos. We love creating timeless wall portraits, albums, and other giftable items that clients will have for generations.

There is no risk without reward. We have had our share of bad luck in the last few years. Alas, tomorrow is always a new day.
