Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexis Austin.

Hi Alexis, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started modeling as a pageant girl in high school. I took a break due to not having the confidence in myself, letting others words hold me back and having depression , which set me back a few years. I started back again in 2022 working as an independent model. When I had my son in 2023, another break was taken. After getting back to normal, I signed over to taylashays talent here in St. Louis in 2023.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No it hasn’t been smooth sailing sadly, I’ve been hurt in so many ways from the people who were supposed to be my family and support. Trying to become something you always dreamed of is a lonely road and my own diagnosis with depression and anxiety has always been a major blocking factor for me. Also dealing with abuse but I’m breaking through and healing as I grow on my own.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a beautiful 6’1 model, content creator and singer but that’s something a lot of people don’t know about me. I am known for my height, beauty and brains. Im actually known for my legs with being so tall.
I am proud of myself for making a name for myself and never giving up even when I thought I couldn’t do it anymore.
I’m different from others because it’s genuinely difficult for me to be social but when I step on stage, I just transform and that’s how I knew where I belonged!

How do you define success?
Success is what’s in you. Everyone is successful in their own ways because not everyone’s dream is the same. Sometimes just waking up in the morning is successful. Success is accomplishing something to your best ability and even if you fail, you can at least say you tried. But if you truly love what you do, you can never fail.
