Hi Almight , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
As a child I lived in Memphis from 6 to 12 yrs old and during that time I was in a choir and an orchestra band playing the cello. I then moved back to St.louis always admiring music. I remember knowing word for word many top lyricist songs like Andre 3k, lil Wayne, ludacris, project pat etc. I never realized until now how rapping those different cadences would shape and mold me now. I honestly never thought I would pursue music, just genuinely loved it.
What actually sparked my career was going back to Lincoln university in 2014, where I met one of my best friends Alexander Hughes, who was a new and upcoming producer. He was 19 i was 24. He was making a beat one day and I start freestyling and he instantly stopped and said, “Bro you should do this fareal”!!! And from there the rest is history
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Just like any journey, I had my ups and downs. From people telling me my quality was trash in my beginning stages. To past relationships ending because of the lack of support. I have had moments I thought of giving up. This was moreso in the beginning stages. As I progressed and started mastering my sound, I now engineer my own music, shoot a lot of my own visuals, have a clothing line (RaSpect The Grind) that I create and make myself , and also have an online store. I also now shoot visuals for other artists. I’ll say I’m in a great headspace now

My name is Almight E (pronounced Almighty) a Hiphop artist/videographer from St.louis Mo. I use to identify as a Concious artist but I felt that title was putting me in a box and limiting me from expressing all parts of me. I’m known for having witty bars, creative concepts, high energy, thought provoking lyrics, and overall fun songs.
I’m most proud of my ability to learn quickly and overcome and obstacle that comes my way.
My charisma and mentality sets me apart from a lot of other artist.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success is actualizing an idea and following thru that plan till the end regardless of the results.
