Amiana started her own skincare journey due to her own personal skin concerns due to eczema that ignited her passion for helping others like herself with their skincare journey using organic ingredients. She began Pampered Luxe in 2019 after she saw the continuous need and support could not be denied! She since then has helped a plethora of individuals who stand with her and behind her brand. Pampered Luxe has reached 22 states and is still rapidly growing!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I would honestly say the road has not been smooth but has been worth it! I’ve gotten a lot of NOs along the way while trying to market and promote Pampered Luxe. At times it has been very discouraging to not be given the opportunity in the products I have so much confidence in!
I would say another “bump” in the road would be those times that I have invested my last into Pampered Luxe and not seeing the investment pay off right away i.e. vendor opportunities.
Running a business and balancing motherhood has been an obstacle within itself! Especially in 2020 I gave birth to twin boys who were delivered at 28 weeks. Having my twins in the NICU for 97 days created a plateau for Pampered Luxe as motherhood, without a question, became the only priority. I struggled to get back on my A game for a while once my twins were finally home due to trying to get my mental health back to where it was required to flourish in both motherhood and business.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a full-time entrepreneur and creative. I specialize in skincare as well as creative writing. I am known as one would consider a Jack of all trades as my creativity has never fit in one category or one box. I have a Lifestyle blog that can be found at amianamonik.com. I am most proud of the tenacity, ambition, heart, and drive that I embody to continue to push for what I believe in and SHOW UP for myself, my brand, and my dreams!
What I would say sets me apart with Pampered Luxe is Pampered Luxe provides luxury organic skincare. With the multiple options of body butters that can be compared to Designer cologne and perfumes while still remaining organic and chemical free!
I would also say what sets me apart from others is the ability to take the wins and losses and remain consistent. Consistency will always persevere!
