Today we’d like to introduce you to Khameron Davis.
Hi Khameron, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
We are excited to share a brief history of Tru View Productions. Our company began in 2021 with a single 360 Photo Booth on a vision board, starting as a side venture while I worked as a mortgage underwriter.
Three years later, I have successfully transitioned to full-time entrepreneurship and now own a diverse collection of 15 different style photo booths.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We are currently navigating a growth phase within Tru View Productions and are encountering a few challenges as we scale operations.
While client acquisition is no longer a significant struggle, we are facing difficulties in three main areas:
1. Staffing and Training: We are finding it hard to recruit and properly train employees to staff the increasing number of events.
2. Equipment Management: We occasionally run into equipment failures and need to dedicate time to troubleshooting.
3. Inventory: Early on, we had to decline clients because we lacked certain styles of photo booths, though this has improved as we’ve grown.
We are looking for solutions, particularly in staffing and equipment reliability, to sustain our current growth trajectory.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the creative opportunities within the photo booth business. I agree that there are many angles to explore, including:

– Designing event pitches or email templates
– Brainstorming add-on services to boost revenue

– Script ideas for attendants
– Social media strategies to showcase events
Operations
– Workflow systems
– Checklists for event setup/breakdown
– Customer onboarding or contracts
Regarding your previous message, I can also professionally reframe your bio or business story.
I am most proud of our company’s growth and how far we have come, having truly started from the ground up.
What makes you happy?
I am happy to share that I truly love my career as a business owner.
It is rewarding to create lasting memories for others, and I deeply enjoy the freedom of being my own boss. Furthermore, I value the opportunity to provide income not only for myself but for others as well. After having several jobs that were not the right fit, I can genuinely say I am happy with the career path I have chosen.
