Hi Deonica, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started this journey as a hobby not knowing it would turn into something that I’d become passionate about. Over the past couple of years I’ve seen the growth in my podcast, the content and also the growth in myself. It’s almost as if the more I podcast , the more I learn about what I want in life and the more I learn about growing which is causing me to grow in all areas in my life.. almost like they correlate with one another.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has not been smooth but I never expected it to be. Of course life has bumps in the road and I’m fine with that. What I struggle most with is being consistent with my creativity. The way I overcome that obstacle is by remembering that its okay to refresh your mind and take a break to come back to your work to ensure you’re putting out your best work. I also struggle with over analyzing my work which is okay in some cases but not okay when its preventing you from sharing your work. Be proud of what you do and always put out your best work even if it takes you a littler longer than expected but just remember SHARE IT.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I consider myself to be a multi talented individual. We all know that I do my podcast BUT did you know that I Record , edit , publish and promote all on my own? In addition to that , I do social media content creation as a side hustle for those close to me & within my community? Reels , Menus , A BILLBOARD ! I feel like God has blessed me to be able to be talented with any task that comes my way. When it comes to visuals , its sort of my expertise.
