Daily Inspiration: Meet Jalesa Brown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jalesa Brown.

Hi Jalesa, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always aspired to be a business owner. Before I graduated high school, I thought about my career in healthcare. I started out as a CNA and I went to school to become a Respiratory therapist.

Over the years, I’ve been trying to figure out my thing. A couple of years ago, I decided to start the process of opening a boutique, I had all my vendors and everything lined up and I realized as much as I like to shop, I don’t have a passion for this.

At this time, I was on a weight-loss journey myself and I actually went to get body sculpting services done myself. I was happy with my results after a few sessions.

One day, after leaving one of my sessions something hit me like hey I can do this. I called my husband and I said I think I wanna go to school and I want to learn body sculpting. He supported my ideas and told me to go for them. I instantly knew I would enjoy this because I’ve been in healthcare for 15 years now.

I said to myself I know a lot about the body already this should be a breeze for me. I began my research and I chose to go get my training done in Chicago. In my career, I thrive off of patient satisfaction and being able to help someone on their weight loss journey or just with their overall health, wellness, or confidence!

“What better feeling>” So here I am a non-invasive body practitioner!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
No, it has not been a smooth road. Honestly, I didn’t expect it to be.

I’ve talked to several business owners and I knew it was gonna be hard, especially with a small team versus a big corporation. I Still struggle today with marketing and bringing in new clients.

I’m a very positive person so I try not to stress about things and I know that things will look up for me in the near future. Right now, I enjoy making my clients happy and that’s what matters to me.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I service men and women. I use several techniques that break/melt stubborn fat pockets. I naturally manipulate the lymphatic system and waste and toxins created by fat are excreted through urine, sweat, and feces.

Not every technique is a size fit. Just to name a few: cavitation, wood therapy, Radio-frequency, laser lipo, cellulite removal, and butt lifting.

A consultation is mandatory before any service to discuss health history and determine what techniques are safe for the individual if the client schedule and pay for a service that day the consult is free of charge.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Follow your dreams. Even when things get rough keep going. Do it young. Do it now.

Don’t be afraid. You either succeed or you’re a failure and if you fail you dust yourself off and you do it again. You got this!!
