Daily Inspiration: Meet Naé Jackson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Naé Jackson.

Hi Naé, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My serial entrepreneurial journey started in May 2020 after I quit my job. During that time, I began selling eyelashes, accessories, and clothing from my “Brennaé’s Closet” page. That same December, I established my non-profit educational and mental health organization “Brennaé the Brand,” which aimed to alleviate the pandemic’s educational disparities by providing local learners free tutoring and counseling. I found this helpful because of my extensive teaching background and my knowledge of psychology. During the same month, my family clothing line, Brand 1403, was founded in memory of my aunt Jackie who passed from cancer. In April 2021, I became a market partner with the vegan beauty brand Monat Global, which allows me to help people be the best version of themselves and help others earn money. Additionally, I am an aerial instructor and have seasonal classes in which people may receive private or group lessons. Lastly, Busy B’s in Motion 360 Photobooth & Photography was founded on behalf of my family, and we attend events and capture them for a fantastic rate.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth journey. However, it has been insightful, rewarding, and exhilarating. Sometimes I struggle with asking for help when I am overwhelmed, but I know I have a fantastic team behind me willing to support me at any step of my process.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am known for being a jack of all trades and being a person who is a light in others’ lives (I am not called the Luminary for no reason!) I am an all-around entrepreneur, educator, and empowered. I focus my entrepreneurship on creating beautiful vibes and helping others achieve their goals / feel comfortable within the skin they’re in, whether that be through clothing, dancing, teaching, beauty products, or shooting an event.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was a curious and shy child. I always wanted to know the “why” or “how” behind a situation, and I rarely spoke unless I was highly interested in a topic. I think my curiosity is why the school was so easy for me and why I wanted to pursue education into adulthood. I was also super active and was ALWAYS dancing at any given event. At birthday parties, they used to host dance competitions, and I would always be the one to step up, dance, and win. I also was always writing a book or reading one. Some may have called me a nerd! I’ve always been interested in performance, as I’ve been a cheerleader and dancer nearly all my life.
