Daily Inspiration: Meet Rosina Nappier

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rosina Nappier.

Hi Rosina, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
The start of my content creator journey began in 2018, my very first campaign was working with a tea company. One thing I’ve always tried to do was post things I’m interested in only things that I would use. We had a very sick dog for a long time, I had to stay at home with her. I kind of felt like I was losing my identity and wanted something more to do. I started researching other influencers and thought I could definitely do this.

I began sharing my reviews on my Instagram page Blushesofrosina. My following started growing from there as did some of my favorite campaigns, it’s been truly a dream come true to work with the brands that I love like Torrid, Sams Club, Dia&Co, Fabletics, and many more! I mainly focus on body-positive content. I was inspired by the people who would always send so much hate my way.

I’ve always been bullied about my weight and thought my page could be a safe place for other women who felt the same way. It took me a long time to realize my body was beautiful, not to carry around shame. Along this journey, I have really come out of my shell, I don’t feel like I’m as shy or anxious just to be myself. I plan to expand my page this year and create a blog.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There have been many struggles along the way, I would not have made it this far at all without my fiancé, or the support of my family. People think it’s just taking pictures and posting stuff nobody actually realizes you’re the one creating invoices sending out emails and talking to brands. I’m incredibly lucky to have such a supportive fiancé that helps me take videos and photos.

And to be honest, I have wanted to quit a few times. Recently the struggle I have been facing is stepping outside of my box. People are cruel and with Instagram constantly changing you have to keep up and try to keep your confidence up. I started creating more Reels and videos for my TikTok @Blushesofrosina. Lately, I have found a lot of joy in creating mini vlogs or food recipes.

I am a soon-to-be Wife and Dogmom, and I would like to incorporate more of my life into my content. I would love to create content of myself and my family experiencing the city of St. Louis and OFallon like tourists, doing fun things, and trying new restaurants.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am most known for being a plus-size influencer. I like to share positive content. Be a voice for women who don’t feel comfortable in their own skin.

My most favorite messages I’ve ever gotten were telling me how they appreciate seeing plus-size women sharing the way I do, which is what also sets me apart from others. I have actually lost jobs due to my weight a lot of brands don’t want somebody plus size promoting for them.

We all have different ways of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
I think defining success is watching others grow and being happy for them. You can’t sit on the bench and wish that it was you, you need to get up and give it your all. There’s plenty of room in this business for everyone.
