We recently had the chance to connect with Danyelle Hygrade and have shared our conversation below.
Danyelle, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
I like to take my morning slow and it ease into the day. I usually start my morning by giving myself a few minutes in the bed to wake up once I feel some what active I will stretch the second I get up to loosen up my body. After the mundane tasks are done I usually make myself a cup of tea and start my morning routine, which consists of journaling, a daily devotional and getting ready for my workout.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, my name is Danyelle, and I’m a Midwest millennial content creator and entrepreneur passionate about blending wellness, lifestyle, and business. My journey started with a desire to design a life I truly love. one that’s rooted in balance, growth, and community. Through my platform, I share how I’m building my career in real estate while prioritizing wellness and personal development, showing that success is just as much about mindset and daily habits as it is about hustle.
What makes my brand unique is that I don’t just talk about wellness and entrepreneurship. I live it. From creating safe spaces like the STL Wellness Collective to documenting my own glow-up journey, I focus on helping others see that they can align their lifestyle with the vision they have for themselves. Right now, I’m working on growing my community, collaborating with wellness and lifestyle brands, and creating content that inspires people to step into their best selves.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
Without a doubt, I would say God.
He saw me clearly before I could even see myself. Every step of my journey, from leaving corporate to building my real estate career, my wellness community, and my content. Even in moments when I doubted myself, He already had the vision laid out, and now I’m simply walking in it.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Fill up your own cup first—nurture your mind, body, and spirit—so that when you pour into others, the world receives from your overflow.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would probably say that what matters most to me is taking care of myself. mentally, physically, and spiritually—because I know that when I’m well, I can show up fully in every area of my life. They’d also say I deeply care for life in general: for the people around me, for my community, and for creating meaningful experiences that uplift and inspire. At the heart of it, I believe that caring for myself and caring for life go hand-in-hand. it’s how I stay grounded, connected, and purposeful.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What light inside you have you been dimming?
The light I’ve been dimming is my gift of relatability and connection—the ability to help others through the same mindset shifts I had to overcome myself. Sometimes I hold back because I get nervous about how to articulate my experiences or guide people through the tools and changes that truly helped me. But I know that by sharing my journey openly, I can give others permission to grow and transform too.
