We recently had the chance to connect with EP and have shared our conversation below.
Good morning EP, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
I am being called to make more motivational music. There are a lot of things going on in this world. We all need motivation to face to truth of this world and to be motivated to come together to make changes that are best for the community. We have people controlling this world that care about nothing but power, control and greed, and will go through a lengths to get those things. We need to be motivated to come together and make the changes because power is in numbers. We are all connected and need to realize that.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am EP. I am a song writer, producer, engineer, and artist. I have always been a creator. I just in the past years started to release my music. The music I write about comes from real life experiences. Experiences of joy,pain, loss, triumph and perseverance. Music has always been a type of expression for me. I am currently working on new projects looking to shed light on current events and bring the community together for an actual change that benefits the people and not just a small group of elites that control the world. I am currently working with other producers worldwide to create this new sound and direction. I feel that real change starts with the people and music is something that united us all.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The part of me that is always trying to take care of people and fix their problems. There is nothing wrong with helping but sometimes it can be hurtful to someone because everyone has to walk their one path and overcome challenges and trials.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
To keep chasing your dreams no matter what anyone says. Stay focused and know that the vision you have is because God gave it to you and it is up to you to accomplish. Not everyone is on that same path.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes I can be all over the place sometimes, but I am truthfully in all aspects and speak my truth no matter what anybody thinks. Authenticity is the best we can do to elevate ourselves.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. If immortality were real, what would you build?
A community that focuses of building the gifts that we all have and that’s not just reliant on finances because the earth provides everything and if we all contributed out talents it would make for a more fluid experience on the earth
