Today we’d like to introduce you to Beth Sansoucie.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I didn’t take a traditional path into my career, my journey really started with being a young mom. For a long time, my focus was on raising my children, and I put my own career goals on hold. Once they became more independent, I found myself asking what was next for me.
I decided to go back to school and pursue elementary education, and I did spend time teaching. While I valued that experience, I realized over time that it wasn’t the right long-term fit for me. I wanted something where I could connect with people in a different way and truly feel fulfilled in the work I was doing.
One day, I was talking with my husband about feeling unsure of what direction to go next, and he said, “I think you’d be a great real estate agent.” That simple suggestion stuck with me. I started researching the industry and reached out to agents I knew to learn more about their experiences.
I ended up meeting with a friend who is also a real estate agent, and after spending a few hours talking through everything, I left feeling inspired. That conversation gave me the confidence to move forward, and I committed to studying for my real estate license. I made it a daily priority and stayed consistent until I passed.
Once I did, everything started to feel real. I joined DRG, Delhougne Realty Group, where I was surrounded by experienced agents who truly poured into me. That support and training helped me build a strong foundation right from the start.
Since starting my real estate career in 2025, I’ve already had the opportunity to help over a dozen families buy and sell homes. The most rewarding part has been building real relationships with my clients and being someone they can trust through such an important time in their lives. Hearing how much they appreciate that has reassured me that I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.
What I love most about real estate is the opportunity to guide people through one of the biggest moments of their lives. I especially enjoy working with first-time home buyers, there’s something so special about being part of that excitement and helping them feel confident every step of the way.
This career has given me a sense of purpose I was searching for, and I’m so grateful I took that leap!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t always been a completely smooth road, especially in the beginning. Like many new agents, I felt a lot of pressure to have all the answers right away. Real estate comes with so many moving parts, and not knowing everything at first was challenging for me.
Over time, I learned that growth in this career comes from experience, not perfection. I had to give myself permission to learn as I went, ask questions, and trust the process. Once I shifted my mindset, everything started to fall into place.
I was fortunate to be surrounded by supportive, experienced agents who guided me along the way, and I committed to learning something new every day. That consistency helped me build confidence quickly and grow into my role.
Looking back, those early challenges were actually what shaped me the most. They taught me patience, adaptability, and how to better support my clients, even in situations where not everything goes exactly as planned.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I’m a real estate agent with DRG, Delhougne Realty Group, and I’ve built my business around being approachable, honest, and truly present for my clients. I work with both buyers and sellers, but I especially love helping first-time home buyers. There’s something really special about guiding someone through that process and helping them feel confident every step of the way.
What sets me apart is how personal I make the experience. I don’t treat my clients like transactions, I treat them like people going through a big life moment. I take the time to explain things in a way that makes sense, stay available, and make sure they never feel alone or overwhelmed in the process.
I’m known for being responsive, patient, and someone my clients can trust to look out for their best interests. Whether it’s answering questions, walking through contracts, or just being there when emotions run high, I try to be a steady, supportive presence from start to finish.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the relationships I’ve built. A lot of my business comes from referrals and people sharing their experiences with others, and that means everything to me. It tells me that I’m not just helping people buy or sell homes, I’m making a lasting impact.
I want readers to know that working with me isn’t about pressure or sales tactics. It’s about having someone in your corner who genuinely cares, listens, and will guide you through the process with honesty and heart.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I love most about our area is the sense of community. It still has that small-town feel where people are friendly, families put down roots, and there’s always something going on locally. From great neighborhoods to parks, schools, and local businesses, it’s such a wonderful place to raise a family and build a life. I also love how it continues to grow while still holding onto that welcoming, close-knit feel.
If I had to pick something I like least, I’d say the growth can sometimes come with challenges, like increased traffic or things feeling a little busier than they used to. But at the same time, that growth also brings new opportunities, businesses, and improvements to the area, so it’s really a balance.
