Today we’d like to introduce you to CML & Co Real Estate Team.
Hi CML & Co Real Estate Team, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
CML & Co. was built from a shared belief that real estate should feel personal, thoughtful, and relationship-driven, not transactional. Each of us came into the business through different paths, but we were aligned in how we wanted to serve clients and show up in our community.
Over time, as our individual businesses grew, it became clear that working together would allow us to deliver an even higher level of service. By combining our experience, local knowledge, and complementary strengths, we were able to create a team model that feels both elevated and deeply personal. CML & Co. was formed to give clients the benefit of multiple perspectives, consistent communication, and a more intentional, full-service experience from start to finish.
Today, we serve buyers and sellers throughout the St. Louis area with a focus on education, strategy, and trust. Our growth has been fueled largely by referrals and repeat clients, which we see as the greatest validation of our approach. We’re proud of how far we’ve come, but even more excited about continuing to grow thoughtfully while staying rooted in the values that brought us together in the first place.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been a completely smooth road, but the challenges have been valuable. Real estate is an industry where the market can shift quickly, and learning to adapt to changing conditions while still serving clients at a high level has been one of the biggest learning curves. Every transaction is different, and early on we learned that flexibility, clear communication, and patience are just as important as market knowledge.
Another challenge has been navigating the emotional side of real estate, both for clients and for ourselves. Buying or selling a home often comes with stress, uncertainty, and high stakes, and learning how to guide clients calmly through those moments took experience and confidence over time.
Each challenge pushed us to refine how we work, how we communicate, and how we support our clients. While the road hasn’t always been easy, those experiences helped shape a more thoughtful, steady approach to our business and reinforced the importance of trust and relationships in everything we do.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
CML & Co. is a St. Louis–based real estate team focused on providing a highly personalized, relationship-driven experience for buyers and sellers. We guide clients through one of the biggest decisions of their lives with clarity, strategy, and care, making sure they feel informed and supported at every step.
We specialize in residential real estate throughout the St. Louis area, with deep knowledge of local neighborhoods, pricing strategy, and market dynamics. What we’re best known for is our hands-on approach, clear communication, and ability to make a complex process feel manageable and even enjoyable. Our clients know they can count on us to be honest, responsive, and proactive, whether they’re purchasing their first home or selling a longtime family property.
What truly sets us apart is the way we prioritize relationships over transactions. We take the time to understand our clients’ goals, timelines, and comfort levels, and we tailor our guidance accordingly. Education and strategy are central to our process, so clients aren’t just making decisions, they understand why they’re making them.
Brand-wise, we’re most proud of the trust we’ve built within our community. Much of our business comes from referrals and repeat clients, which tells us we’re doing something right. We want readers to know that CML & Co. is a team that leads with integrity, local expertise, and genuine care. When someone works with us, they’re not just hiring a real estate agent, they’re gaining a trusted partner they can rely on long after the closing table.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Be patient and stay focused on building relationships, not quick wins. Early on, it’s easy to feel pressure to have everything figured out or to measure success too narrowly, but consistency and integrity matter far more than speed. Showing up, doing good work, and treating people well compounds over time.
We also wish we had known how important it is to trust your own voice and instincts. There’s a lot of noise when you’re starting out, and not every piece of advice will align with your values or your personality. Finding an approach that feels authentic makes the work more sustainable and more fulfilling.
Finally, don’t underestimate the value of learning as you go. Every experience, especially the challenging ones, is an opportunity to grow. If you stay curious, committed, and people-first, the foundation you build will serve you for years to come.
