Hi Jeanette, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
“I’ve been a barbershop owner of Style and Fade since 2017, and from the start, I knew I wanted to keep growing while giving back to the community. When the opportunity came to open something new right next to my shop, I wasn’t sure at first what it would be but I knew I wanted to stay rooted in St. Ann, Missouri. That’s how the idea for a café was born. I wanted to serve a great cup of coffee while also adding a unique twist inspired by my California roots and Hispanic heritage. Brew & Bites is more than just coffee and food it’s a blend of culture, community, and passion, created to share a little piece of who I am.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Being In the business industry, the road is never completely smooth there are always challenges and obstacles along the way. What matters most is learning, adapting, and pushing forward, because every setback is also an opportunity to grow stronger but I would say building the right team can be a bit of a struggle you need people who truly care about the business.

We’re known for our specialty coffees such as Horchata, Azteca, Gansito, Mazapan and Churro lattes. They’re a must ! Crafted with heart and passion in everything we do. Alongside our drinks, we bring a twist to the menu with authentic Mexican food, offering flavors that make our café unique.
What makes you happy?
What makes me happy is seeing people enjoy what I’ve created whether it’s a fresh haircut at the barbershop or a great cup of coffee at the café. Bringing people together and making them feel welcome!Beyond making my family proud, it’s the little moments with customers a ‘thank you,’ a smile, or hearing they loved the food and will be back that truly fill my heart with joy.
