Exploring Life & Business with Kaylen Reed of Weakamo

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaylen Reed

Hi Kaylen, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m a 19 year old up and coming entrepreneur who is new to what is happening and going on in my life right now. I have a clothing brand called Weakamo which pushes for the weak and vulnerable state people face in life, letting them know that its apart of the cycle of growth. You have to be weak to grow strong. I also have a podcast called NoAdultsAllowed where I interview people from the ages of 5-24 and talk to them about their business and just about life in general. Its the only youth led podcast in the midwest. It’s just a place for the youth to express themselves without anyone to tell them they’re in the wrong or having any judgement on them. I also work in a screenwriting and embroidery shop called House Of Vision. There I manufacture my own clothing but I also make others clothing too because I am a clothing manufacture. Lastly I also am an incoming freshman of Harris Stowe State University where I plan to take up Phycology and minor in Business. I have a lot going on and it all came from networking. Networking was my key to success with starting to do everything I do. I faced a lot of criticism but that’s life I took it constructively and grew from it. You can literally do anything you want its all about how you start and how you plan to never be finished.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No With everything you do you will have a problem but that’s just life. I’ve faced a lot of problems and still am as we speak but your Losses slowly turn into wins because you will learn from all of your obstacles and losses because the show has to keep going.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Weakamo ?

Use your weak moments to fuel or help you climb to your strongest moments. My brand is different because the message of my brand is different and relatable to everyone. The actual clothing is also amazing I feel I have any type of wear for any type of style and person.
