Exploring Life & Business with Susie B of Susie Braids

Today we’d like to introduce you to Susie B.

Hi Susie, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I have always wanted to do hair. Even when I was younger, I used to do hair out of my bedroom then I moved to my parents garage and then of course going to school and graduating working in a salon and then getting my own salon suite.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It wasn’t always that easy as time went on. I had to get a job because I didn’t have many clients. However, I never stopped actually doing hair I would just do it on the side.once I realize that I was better at braiding than I started braiding only! And that really worked for me.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Susie Braids?
I specialize in gypsy or boho which most people call. Them i called them fairy braids as well, but this is my special specialty and I think it was sets me apart from people is my attitude. I’m approachable. I try to talk to my clients. I try to be as understanding as I can and I literally just offered a really good time when you come to your appointment

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
One of my favorite childhood memories is always traveling with my mom and my dad and my sisters. I remember one time we were out of town and we got a chance to be on what would you do when we’re actually on Nickelodeon
