Hi Abby, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been a licensed esthetician for 18 years and spent most of that time in the world of medical aesthetics — until I found Face Foundrié and completely fell in love. The open concept and the energy that flows through our stores is magnetic. Making skincare accessible to everyone has become a true passion of mine. Building and leading my teams across my stores has been one of the greatest gifts of my career. I deeply care about the people I work with and the communities we serve, and I’m so proud of what we’re building together. Outside of work, I’m a wife, a mom to two beautiful daughters, animal lover, and completely obsessed with nature — it’s where I recharge, find inspiration, and stay grounded.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road — but I’m a firm believer that nothing truly worthwhile comes easily. It’s often within the hardest seasons that you really discover who you are and what you’re made of. Opening three stores within a year while raising two small children — and having my husband handle all of the buildouts — was absolute chaos at times! But I wouldn’t trade it. Those challenges shaped me as both a leader and a person. Now that all three stores are open, I feel myself growing stronger and more grounded every day. We’re finding our rhythm, and it’s so rewarding to see the vision really coming to life.
