Matchmaking has always been a part of my life. Recognizing compatibility, understanding interpersonal patterns, and connecting people in meaningful ways have always felt natural to me. Over time, that instinct became more deliberate. I pursued formal training and became a certified professional matchmaker, deepening my understanding of relationship dynamics and compatibility. I began to recognize that many accomplished, thoughtful local professionals were serious about long-term partnership but did not have access to a structured, strategic way to meet aligned partners. That realization led to the founding of Matched With Love. In the early stages, the focus was on quality and building something purposeful. I invested significant time cultivating a strong network, personally recruiting and vetting members, and refining a thoughtful process centered on alignment. As the work evolved, it became clear that successful partnerships are influenced by more than shared values alone. Introductions matter, but so do communication, emotional readiness, and the ability to grow and adapt together through life’s changes. We expanded to offer date and relationship coaching, personal styling, and professional photography to support clients. Our goal is not only to facilitate introductions, but to help clients strengthen the skills that allow relationships to remain healthy and aligned over time.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Matchmaking places you in the middle of people’s most personal decisions. It requires steadiness, discernment, and commitment. The work demands strategy while remaining grounded in care. Every introduction involves two real lives, two families, two futures. That perspective shapes every decision we make. We do not move casually or reactively. We evaluate carefully, communicate directly, and move forward with intention. As the firm has grown, the focus has been on maintaining that same standard in every match. The evolution of Matched With Love has been defined by consistency – showing up with the same intention, love, and care every day.
